Solid Rock Recruiting LLC is recruiting a Tax Manager for a well‑established public accounting firm in King County, WA. The role focuses on leading tax engagements, client service, and staff development.

You will prepare and review federal and state returns for individuals and businesses, handle planning and advisory work, and ensure timely project delivery. Requires CPA and 5+ years of public accounting tax experience; hybrid work with two onsite days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• CPA required.
• Bachelor/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong experience with individual and business tax compliance.
• Able to communicate directly and confidently with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements from start to finish.
• Prepare and review federal and state returns for individuals and entities.
• Advise on tax planning and compliance needs.
• Research complex tax issues and propose solutions.
• Review staff work and provide direction as needed.
• Manage deadlines, budgets, and client deliverables.
• Develop client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on complex matters.
• Coach and develop junior tax team members.
