Job summary

Kemper CPA Group LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm, seeks a Tax Manager for our Avon, Indiana office. The role requires a CPA and a minimum of 5 years’ supervisory tax experience in a regional or national firm, with expertise in current tax practices and strong client relationship management.

Responsibilities include preparing/reviewing federal, state, local returns; financial statement analysis; staff development; and driving high-quality tax engagements.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with minimum 5 years’ tax experience in supervisory capacity.
• Ability to coordinate staff and client expectations, plan assignments, resolve issues.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and tax project management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review federal, state, local and special tax returns by collecting, analyzing, and formatting financial information.
• Prepare and/or review financial statements, reports, and records; analyze trends.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, seminars, and professional societies.
• Promote firm by engaging in professional, civic, or charitable organizations.
• Manage book of business within budgeted revenue and realization expectations.
• Develop and coach staff.
• Additional duties as assigned.
