MBE CPAs is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee client relationships and ensure timely delivery of tax products and monthly financial work. You will manage payroll, tax returns, and related reports while building strong client connections and advising on financial needs.

The role supports Goodyear/Chandler/Phoenix, AZ offices with onsite, hybrid, or remote options. Expect a mix of tax season heavy weeks and lighter weeks, with opportunities for growth and professional advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicate with clients as requested; provide recommendations to assist with financial or tax needs.
