Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required.
• 5–7 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with changing tax regulations.
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to handle complex tasks within the firm's compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews, and signs individual, business, and other tax returns for clients in various entities and industries.
• Collaborates with the tax team on tax planning, client interaction, and special projects.
• Seeks maximum tax benefits for clients across scenarios.
• Develops solutions and communicates them to the engagement team and client.
• Manages client relationships and adds value through service.
• Mentors and trains staff within the tax department.
