The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of public accounting tax experience, a CPA or EA certification, and deep knowledge of tax accounting and IRS regulations. You will mentor staff and support business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification required.
• 5–7 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on changing tax industry regulations.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Ability to focus on complex tasks and understand firm compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews, and signs individual, business, and other tax returns for clients across entities and industries.
• Collaborates with tax team on planning, client interaction, and special tax projects.
• Develops solutions and communicates them to the engagement team and clients.
• Manages client relationships and contributes to business development.
• Mentors and trains associates and seniors in the tax department.
• Attends training seminars and professional development events.
