Schneider Downs & Co., Inc is seeking a Tax Manager – Core to oversee tax planning, preparation and review for a diverse client base. You will lead engagements, manage workflow and coach the tax team while cultivating relationships with clients and leadership.

Qualifications

• CPA is required; JD/LL.M./Master's in Taxation acceptable in lieu of CPA.
• Minimum five years of public accounting experience in tax.
• Ability to develop business and foster client relationships.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills.
• Excellent writing, communication and tax research skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop strong client relationships on various tax engagements.
• Manage engagement workflow, resources and billing.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to the tax team.
• Review tax returns and identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Stay informed of current and proposed tax legislation and advise clients.
