Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, accounting and advisory services.
• CPA or JD preferred; Enrolled Agent or law license acceptable as part of qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the team providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services to middle market clients.
• Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns, including federal and state filings.
• Review accounting records with clients, provide analysis and consultations, and discuss accounting matters with clients.
• Deliver best-in-class client service, ensuring responsiveness, timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage client relationships, act as liaison to resolve client issues, and assist leaders in researching and offering additional services.
• Delegate work effectively, set goals, allocate resources, remove obstacles, and schedule deadlines to meet client expectations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws.
• Assist with staffing, billing/collections and profitability targets; contribute to engagement operations.
• Network and build relationships with clients and the community; participate in firm-wide development programs.

4-year degree CPA, Law License, Enrolled Agent
