We are looking to hire a Tax Manager for our Private Funds group. We want to hire in one of the following locations:

Cleveland, Akron, New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Pittsburgh.

Position Overview

In this role, you will oversee the tax compliance and planning processes for our hedge fund clients. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting while advising clients on various tax strategies to optimize their financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for hedge funds.
• Advise clients on tax issues, including compliance, reporting, and strategic planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and development opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate tax compliance.
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations impacting hedge funds.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on hedge funds or investment partnerships.
• Previous experience as a Tax Manager, Tax Senior, or Tax Supervisor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and tax planning for hedge funds.
