Job summary

MST is seeking a Tax Manager to join our team of experienced professionals in the tax practice. The role focuses on managing the preparation of various tax returns, projections, and complex analyses, while fostering strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting and CPA license.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Strong leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns.
• Prepare income tax projections involving multiple scenarios and complex analysis.
• Coordinate with client personnel to obtain information for tax services.
• Plan and supervise preparation of schedules and analyses for tax returns.
• Remain knowledgeable of new tax developments and improve leadership and communication skills.
