Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent tax experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or EA required.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and general accounting skills.
• Experience with common tax software platforms (e.g., CCH, SafeSend, GoSystem).
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage high volumes of work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and sign federal and multistate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and business entities.
• Create quarterly estimates, projections, and related analyses.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding tax matters, deliverables, and timelines.
• Conduct tax research and explain the impact of tax law changes.
• Respond to tax notices and oversee correspondence with federal and state agencies.
• Mentor and support tax associates and specialists.
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
