Job summary

CLA in Nashville is looking to hire a Tax Director or Manager to join CLA Carolantaville's Business Tax team. You'll work with business clients as you progress in your inspired career in an in-office role.

This position offers opportunities to consult on partnership, S-corp, and pass-through tax matters, lead engagements, mentor team members, and develop client solutions that help firms grow. You will collaborate across services and attend industry events to stay at the forefront of the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of tax experience in public accounting or a professional services firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active JD, CPA, or EA certification.
• Strong client service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise tax engagements.

Responsibilities

• Consult with partnership, S-corp, and pass-through clients on tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients and communities.
• Attend industry-leading events and trainings as an industry professional.

CLA is looking to hire a Tax Director or Manager to join CLA Carolantaville's Business Tax team. You'll have the opportunity in this role to work with our business clients as you progress in your inspired career. This is an in office position based out of any of the following offices: Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Atlanta, and Nashville.

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Manager/Director role:

• Consult with partnership, S-corp, and pass-through clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex partnership, S-corp, pass-thru, and HNW personal tax returns.

What you will need:

• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm.
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have an active JD, CPA, or EA certification.
