The ideal candidate holds a CPA with 3+ years of public accounting experience focused on small business and individual taxation, and is ready to lead engagements and mentor staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field required.
• Master's in taxation preferred; Master's in accounting beneficial.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and conformance.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns in compliance with tax requirements.
• Develop, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency and understanding of complex transactions.
• Conduct research on accounting and tax issues and manage research activities of staff.
• Identify trends in data to suggest problems or solutions.
• Evaluate costs, benefits, and risks of alternative client solutions.
• Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and strategic development.
• Participate in tax planning and stay current on tax developments.
• Manage productivity of individuals and teams, including realization and utilization.
• Build client relationships with financial officers and partners; assist in networking and business development.

Education

Bachelor's in accounting or related field
