Qualifications

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred, but flexibility for the right candidate
• Strong technical tax knowledge across individual and business taxation
• Experience reviewing returns and delivering a high-quality final product
• UltraTax experience is a plus
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and tax software platforms
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements from start to finish
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients on tax and financial matters
• Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and outside professionals
• Review and prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and gift tax returns
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and business owners
• Conduct tax research and communicate findings to clients and firm leadership
• Review and respond to federal and state tax noticesMentor, train, and develop tax staff
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
