The Opportunity

Our Private Tax group within the National Tax Department is expanding. We focus on serving privately held companies and their owners, ranging from startups to multi-billion-dollar global enterprises. This role involves engaging in technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects, providing a chance for cross-border and cross-functional teamwork. EY supports your growth in technical tax knowledge, leadership, and business acumen.

Your Responsibilities

Manage various client responsibilities, including technical planning and advising private entities such as C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and high-profile individuals/families. You will act as a trusted advisor, coach and develop a team of tax professionals, and focus on quality and business value.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant tax, business, or financial planning experience; advanced degrees preferred.
• CPA certification or membership in The Bar.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in tax or related fields.
• Deep understanding of estate and wealth planning, federal and state taxation, flow-through entities, corporate tax, and cross-border tax planning.
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Skills

• Proven record in tax planning for owners and families, mentoring junior staff, and analytical skills.
