Tax Manager, Asset Management (Remote Option)

Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios within the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate, hedge funds).
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Assess tax impacts of rules and law changes, develop tax strategies, and advise clients.
• Manage engagement risks, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets.
• Deliver high-quality tax services to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; CPA, EA, JD, or LLM license or equivalent credential. Candidates without an approved credential at hire have one year to obtain one.
• Proficient in taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial information.
