Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Alternative Investments practice in the McLean, VA area. The role focuses on tax compliance and consulting for venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, and real estate clients.

You will lead engagements, manage teams of Tax Seniors and Associates, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality federal, state, and international tax services while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics; preferred
• Master's in Accountancy or Taxation; preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures clients comply with all authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burden
• Prepares required filings and ensures full compliance with tax laws
• Leads complex engagements and manages budgets, billing, and timelines
• Builds and manages client relationships and documents work in client files
• Supervises Tax Seniors and Associates
