Job summary

Pinion is seeking a Tax Manager to drive tax excellence for clients in the commodity crop sector. You will prepare and review returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other flow-through entities, while leading projects and mentoring staff.

You will analyze client data to identify trends and opportunities, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and stay current on tax developments affecting agriculture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA eligibility/license preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other flow-through entities
• Lead and manage tax projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
• Analyze client data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams, articulating complex tax concepts clearly and confidently
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and technical development
• Stay informed on current tax issues and agricultural industry trends to provide proactive advice
