Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA license required.
  • Seven or more years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience serving agribusiness clients preferred.
  • Experience at a mid-sized or larger public accounting firm preferred.
  • Proficiency with CCH Axcess, CCH Prosystems fx Engagement, CCH AnswerConnect and other tax prep/research software.
  • Ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes and develop effective strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop staff, seniors, and supervisors, nurturing growth and learning.
  • Tax Expertise: Engage in comprehensive tax planning and compliance, managing intricate tax returns and engagements.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, understanding their business needs beyond tax.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Network Building: Expand the firm's professional network and client retention.
  • Problem Solving: Provide innovative solutions to complex tax issues.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
  • Seven or more years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience serving agribusiness clients is preferred.
  • Experience working a mid-sized or larger public accounting firm is preferred.
  • Proficiency with CCH Axcess, CCH Prosystems fx Engagement, CCH AnswerConnect and other tax preparation / research softwares.
  • Ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.
