The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly experiencedSenior Tax Accountant/ Tax Managerwith a minimum of 7 years in public accounting to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing complex tax returns, advising on special tax projects, and communicating clearly and professionally with clients. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and great service across our portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review business and individual tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, and 1040)
• Handle occasional complex or special tax projects
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide guidance and clarity
• Collaborate with our internal team to ensure seamless service and delivery
• Provide support and mentorship to junior tax staff as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 7 years of experience with a public accounting firm in tax preparation and review
• Proficiency in business and personal tax return types, including corporations, S-corps, partnerships, nonprofits, and individuals
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
• Experience with tax software and cloud-based accounting platforms
• CPA required

Schedule & Hours:

• Approx. 20 hours/week during non-tax season
• Up to 30 hours/week during tax season
• Potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate
