AJ Chambers US seeks an experienced Tax Manager to join our Texas practice. This on-site/ hybrid role offers exposure to diverse clients and high-impact projects across Texas markets including Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting tax, CPA or EA preferred, and can lead engagements, mentor junior staff, and build strong client relationships while delivering proactive tax planning and compliance services.

Competenze

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience at Tax Manager level or readiness to progress into a Manager position.
• Strong knowledge of federal tax compliance and planning.
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Experience supervising, reviewing and mentoring junior professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA or EA qualification preferred, with CPA eligibility also considered depending on the opportunity.
