Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Tax Manager to join our Tech Services team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will oversee income tax, tax returns, and state & local taxes across multiple jurisdictions, driving planning and compliance.

The role offers extensive responsibilities, including tax provisions, forecasting, audit coordination, and staff mentorship. A CPA or Master’s in Taxation and 5+ years of experience are preferred for this critical leadership position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management focusing on Income Tax, Tax Returns, and State & Local taxes.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and procedures.
  • Experience in Tech Services industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee tax operations and ensure compliance with state, federal, and local tax laws.
  • Prepare and review complex income tax returns, tax provisions, and tax forecasts.
  • Develop and execute tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and increase profits.
  • Stay updated with changing tax laws and communicate implications to management.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during tax and financial audits.
  • Provide expert tax advice to management for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments for accurate tax reporting and filing.
  • Identify tax risks and opportunities and propose mitigations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in tax management.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our rapidly growing Tech Services team. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Income Tax, Tax Returns, and State & Local taxes. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and be capable of managing tax operations, planning, and compliance across various jurisdictions. Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 per year

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and manage the entire tax operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local tax laws and regulations.
  2. Prepare and review complex income tax returns, tax provisions, and tax forecasts.

Qualifications

  6. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex tax information effectively.
  8. Proficient in tax software and other related financial systems.
  9. A commitment to continuous learning and development in the ever‑changing world of taxation.
