SJHL seeks a Tax Manager for its Rio Rancho, NM office. The role focuses on leading tax engagements, strengthening client relationships, and supporting staff development within a growing team.

You will review complex business and individual returns, supervise projections, and contribute to expanding the Rio Rancho office while upholding high-quality tax service.

Qualifications

• Active CPA with a strong understanding of GAAP.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Loves tax and enjoys solving complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow client relationships.
• Review business and individual income tax returns.
• Review tax projections and quarterly estimates.
• Mentor and develop other team members through knowledge sharing.
• Help grow the Rio Rancho office and contribute to firm growth.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Loves tax and enjoys digging into complex issues
• Is an active CPA with a good understanding of GAAP
• Brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Has 5+ years of experience in public accounting
• Enjoys managing client relationships and developing their own book of business
• Is interested in mentoring others and contributing to a growing team
