Job summary

Sandella Sova is partnering with a major distribution company in PA to enhance the Income Tax team. This fully remote position requires quarterly visits to the PA HQ and offers a collaborative, high-caliber environment with world-class talent.

You will manage a co-sourced income tax compliance process, oversee federal/state/local filings, and support the Tax Director with research and variance analysis while mentoring a small team and driving process improvements through technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA, Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• 5+ years of tax experience with income tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of federal and multi-state income taxation.
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a co-sourced income tax compliance process with a Big Four firm.
• Oversee the tax calendar, filings for federal, state, and local taxes across portfolios.
• Assist the Tax Director with research and variance analysis.
• Lead a small staff team, review work, provide feedback and coaching.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives using technology.

• Oversee the tax calendar, ensuring federal, state, and local filings for a diverse portfolio of businesses
• Assist the Tax Director with research, and variance analysis
• Lead a small team of staff, reviewing their work, providing feedback, and coaching
• Assist in process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and improvements
