Brewer Morris is excited to be partnering with a leading global organization in its search for a Senior Tax Analyst to join their Tax Department.
This position will play a key role in supporting the company's tax compliance and reporting processes while contributing to technology and process improvements. The team follows a hybrid work schedule, with employees expected to work onsite 3 days per week in Wayne, PA.
- Prepare and review quarterly/annual income tax provision calculations under ASC 740 via OneSource Tax Provision and associated workpapers.
- Calculate and analyze domestic return-to-provision adjustments based on recently filed tax returns.
- Prepare and review domestic federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns, disclosures, and associated workpapers.
- Use knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts to confirm correct treatment of foreign income on federal and state filings.
- Own FDII and R&D-related calculations by coordinating with external consultants and performing calculations internally when required.
- Calculate federal and state quarterly estimated tax payments and extension payments.
- Research and document tax return-related issues as necessary.
- Assist in state and federal audits.
- Drive tax technology and automation initiatives by developing, maintaining, and enhancing tools that streamline compliance processes and support the transformation of tax operations.
- Adhere to all applicable company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or Master's degree a plus.
- Experience with a Big 4 national accounting firm or a U.S. multinational corporation is preferred.
- Experience with OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Tax Provision, and HFM is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is required.
- Experience with AI or automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Alteryx, or similar).
Specialized Skills & Other Requirements
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state income tax concepts; general knowledge of U.S. taxation of foreign entities.
- Strong understanding of ASC 740, including current and deferred tax calculations and financial reporting requirements.
- Self-starter with strong business acumen, organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to take initiative to seek out solutions with minimal guidance.
- Robust understanding of financial statements and related notes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
