Job summary

Distinct | North America is seeking a Tax Lead to take ownership of the tax function and lead delivery across a small team. You will work directly with high-net-worth clients, trusts, and nonprofits, guiding the team to improve how tax work is run.

The role focuses on leadership over execution, with hybrid work arrangements (3 days in office, 2 from home) and a strong emphasis on client relationship management. A background in public accounting and a taste for process improvement are essential.

• Own and lead the tax function across the firm

You’ll take ownership of the tax function, working directly with clients while leading delivery across the team.

You’ll still be close enough to the work to stay sharp.

But the focus shifts.

Less doing everything yourself

More guiding, reviewing, and improving how things run

You’ll be the person clients speak to.

Not the one sitting behind the scenes.
