Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC partners with a growing Chicago-suburb company to identify a Tax Manager who can support all aspects of the tax function. The Tax Manager will oversee individual and corporate tax activities, manage sales/use tax compliance and federal/state audits, review quarterly estimates, and

Qualifications

• CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in public accounting firm.
• Extensive experience signing off returns.
• Experience supervising at least one direct report.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of individual tax returns.
• Manage the sales and use tax compliance process, including audits.
• Manage and coordinate all US federal and state income tax audits.
• Review Federal & State quarterly income tax estimates and extensions.
• Manage / Review state tax notices and all state tax correspondence.
• Monitor tax law and accounting changes impacting the company.
• Supervise and mentor a direct report.

Tax Manager, Salary $110-120k + Bonus

CFS has partnered with a growing company based out of Chicago suburbs to identify a Tax Manager to join their team who can support all aspects of the company’s tax function.

The Tax Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with preparation and review of individual tax returns
• Manage the sales and use tax compliance process, including the management of sales and use tax audits
• Manage and coordinate all US federal and state income tax audits
• Review Federal & State quarterly income tax estimates and extension
• Manage / Review state tax notices and all state tax correspondence
• Continuously monitor and identify tax law and accounting changes that have an impact on the company.
• Supervise and mentor a direct report

Qualifications:

• CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in public accounting firm.
• Extensive experience signing off returns
• Experience serving in a role supervising at least one direct report
• Strong interpersonal skills

Salary range $115,000-$140,000
