Job summary

Withum seeks a Tax Manager in New York, NY to lead and supervise tax engagements across individuals, trusts, partnerships and corporations. You will mentor staff, conduct complex tax research, and partner with clients to deliver accurate, timely tax strategies.

The role requires a CPA or similar credential and 5+ years in public accounting. Expect a hybrid work model with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license is required; JD or MS in Taxation is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a public accounting tax group, leading engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills are essential.
• Strong client service and communication abilities are required.
• Ability to travel as needed and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Leadership, mentoring, and strong organizational skills are expected.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
