Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, trust, partnership, corporate).
  • Lead tax planning engagements and provide strategic guidance to clients.
  • Oversee client relationships and act as trusted advisor to leadership.
  • Review work of junior accountants and mentor staff.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise proactively.
  • Manage tax research and compliance matters.
  • Support firm growth through client service and relationship management.
  • Take ownership of client engagements and contribute to team development.

Position Title: Tax Manager (Partner Track)

We're partnering with a highly respected public accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its leadership team with a defined path to Partnership. Salary Range: $140,000–$180,000 DOE

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 8–10+ years of public accounting experience is required
  • Strong experience preparing tax returns is required
  • Desire to become partner within 1 year is required
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • CPA certification is required
  • Proficiency in Word and Outlook is required
  • Experience in public accounting is required
  • Experience with additional software is preferred
