Job summary

The Nichols Group PA is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager/Preparer in Fleming Island, FL to lead tax engagements for individuals and closely held businesses. You will handle planning, returns, and client representation with a CPA or EA credential.

Ideal candidates have strong technical tax knowledge, excellent client service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a small, collaborative firm.

Qualifications

• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) license required.
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of estate and trust, corporate, partnership taxation, and multi-state taxation.
• Experience with IRS representation.
• Audit/attest experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are a growing small public accounting firm in the Fleming Island, Florida area seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager and Preparer with a CPA or EA credential to join our team.

• Prepare and review:
  • Individual tax returns
  • Corporate tax returns
  • Partnership tax returns
  • Estate and trust tax returns
  • Multi-state tax returns

• Assist with audit and attest engagements (a plus)
