Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required).
  • Active CPA or EA license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
  • Prior experience in a public accounting environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise teams; provide coaching and development.
  • Demonstrate tax compliance and planning expertise.
  • Deliver strategic tax planning aligned with client goals.
  • Review complex tax returns for quality and accuracy.
  • Build strong client relationships through consultative service.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Manage multiple engagements within time and budget.
  • Pursue new business opportunities including cross-selling.
  • Represent the firm at networking events and in the business community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise teams of staff and seniors; provide feedback, coaching, and development support.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning.
  • Deliver strategic tax planning solutions that align with clients' broader business goals.
