Job summary

Clark Schaefer Hackett is seeking a Tax Manager to serve as a trusted advisor for clients, lead engagements from planning to delivery, and mentor developing professionals in a firm renowned for advisory services.

You'll build proactive tax strategies, manage multiple engagements and budgets, and help drive growth while maintaining strong client relationships in a collaborative, hybrid work environment in Cincinnati.

Qualifications

• CPA, EA, CA, or similar professional designation.
• Public accounting tax experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong technical tax, research, and planning expertise.
• Experience managing client relationships and complex engagements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop others and deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax engagements from planning through delivery.
• Review tax returns, tax research, and consulting projects.
• Help clients develop proactive tax strategies and minimize tax exposure.
• Serve as a primary advisor and relationship manager for clients.
• Coach, mentor, and develop tax professionals.
• Manage multiple engagements, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify opportunities to bring additional value to clients and strengthen relationships.
