Job summary

Brewer Morris seeks a Tax Manager (Private Client Services) to join either the Chicago or Lincolnshire, IL office on a hybrid schedule. The role centers on managing individual, estate and trust tax matters for private clients with a client-service oriented advisory focus.

You will lead and develop a team, review complex returns, and provide proactive planning to high-net-worth clients. The firm highlights work-life balance and opportunities toward partnership.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of Individual, Gift, Estate and Trust tax compliance.
• Experience advising clients and reviewing complex returns.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team in a client-service oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance for private client group including individuals, estates and trusts.
• Provide advisory and planning services to high-net-worth clients.
• Review complex tax returns and oversee staff work.
• Drive client service quality and contribute to practice growth.

Our client is a well-established Regional CPA Firm who are performing a select search for a talented Tax Manager to join their Private Client Services Team in either of their offices in Chicago or Lincolnshire, IL on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications:

• CPA Required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other relevant discipline
• 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with 1+ years in a senior managerial role preferred
• Expertise in management of Individual, Gift, Estate, and Trust income tax compliance and providing knowledgeable review of complex returns
• Background and experience managing and actively providing advisory and tax solutions to clients
