gpac is seeking a Tax Manager to join a established CPA firm in Birmingham, Alabama. The role focuses on leading tax compliance, planning, and advisory for a diverse client base, with opportunities for professional growth.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA, 5+ years of public accounting, and strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax rules. You will mentor staff and act as a strategic advisor to clients.

Qualifications

Tax Manager Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing processes for clients.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Tax Manager Qualifications

Tax Manager Compensation

• $110,000-160,000
