Job summary

CLA is hiring a Tax Director or Manager for our growing Wisconsin Tax practice. Locations include Appleton, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Racine, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, and Wausau. You will consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning and lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.

The ideal candidate has 6 years of experience in a large firm, CPA certification, and a degree in accounting/finance. JD or EA may be accepted.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.

• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
