Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Tax Manager or Director for its Wisconsin Tax practice, with locations across Wisconsin including Appleton, Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and more. The role focuses on leading tax engagements, client consulting on succession and tax planning, and developing and training a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate brings 6 years in a large public accounting firm and 10+ years preferred, with an active CPA certification. JD/EA may be accepted in lieu of CPA.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• Active CPA certification (JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of CPA).

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with engagement size and complexity.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
