Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Manager or Director to join our Wisconsin Tax practice, with locations including Madison and other Wisconsin cities. This role focuses on client advisory, tax planning, and leading engagements across businesses and individuals.

Ideal candidates will hold an active CPA, have 6 years in a large firm, and 10+ years experience preferred. A bachelor's in accounting/finance is required; JD or EA may substitute in certain cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Active CPA certification required; JD or EA may be substituted in certain cases.
• Experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm preferred.
• Strong leadership and client advisory skills in a tax environment.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on tax planning and business processes.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to build their careers in tax.
• Foster client and community relationships and manage tax compliance.
