Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Arizona is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead a growing CPA practice in the East Valley. You will supervise a small team, review and sign complex federal and multi-state tax returns for various entity types, and work closely with Tax Partners to drive client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Master's degree in Tax is a plus.
• CPA designation is required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, incl. at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with developing others.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new tax software tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications.
• Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a small tax team.
• Review and sign federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Collaborate with Tax Partners and Senior Managers on complex matters.
• Support opportunities to grow to the Partner level.
