Job summary

The Artemis Group Ltd., a prominent New York law firm, is conducting a priority search for a sophisticated transactional tax lawyer with substantial experience advising on complex transactions and collaborating closely with corporate deal teams.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in M&A, private investment fund formation, partnership and corporate taxation, and joint ventures, including real estate and cross-border structuring.

Job description

Prominent New York law firm is conducting a priority search for a sophisticated transactional tax lawyer with significant experience advising on complex transactions and working closely with corporate deal teams. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in several of the following areas:

• M&A, dispositions, and other corporate transactions
• Private investment fund formation and structuring
• Partnership and corporate taxation
• Joint ventures, including real estate and other strategic investments
• Domestic and cross-border investment and transaction structuring

Experience with public or private financing, international tax planning, and family office or high-net-worth investment structures would be a plus but is not required.

No book of business is required as the firm already has a busy practice and there is a true business need.

The firm is open to thinking creatively about level. In addition to current partners, the firm would strongly consider an exceptional senior associate or counsel with the technical sophistication and experience for elevation to partner.
