Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is offering an internship in Lincoln, Nebraska, with opportunities in assurance, tax, or a combination of both. Winter and summer internships run from January through April and June through mid-August, respectively.

Interns will work alongside senior staff, gaining exposure to client engagements and testing technical accounting and tax skills. Interns must be pursuing CPA Exam eligibility, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and have reliable transportation to attend off-site meetings.

Qualifications

• Intern candidates must be pursuing CPA Exam eligibility.
• Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected.
• Interns must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office and ability to attend meetings in person.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns.
• Calculate tax extension or estimate payments.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
