Job summary

Wipfli LLP is seeking interns in accounting to apply educational knowledge to real client work. You will assist with tax returns, data analysis, and supporting engagement teams across various client engagements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting; completion of corporate or individual taxation class is required.
• GPA above average; preferred 3.0 or higher.
• Working towards CPA exam eligibility.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
• Think independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and staff interactions.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States full-time upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Gather information for completion of required documents.
• Use data analysis to find patterns and support recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes for efficiency.
• Prepare individual, business and fiduciary tax returns and projections.
• Use current tax and accounting software applications and research related issues.
