Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Preferred GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Working toward CPA eligibility (150 credits).
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
• Ability to think independently and make decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Gather information from clients to complete required documents.
• Use data analysis to discover useful information and support recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes for efficiency.
• Prepare individual, business and fiduciary tax returns and projections as directed.
• Understand and use current tax software applications.
• Research tax issues and related financial reports.
• Conduct a limited number of tax return interviews as needed.
