Job summary

Wipfli is seeking an in‑person Tax Internship in Wisconsin. You will support tax returns and projections for individuals, businesses and fiduciaries, while learning current software applications.

The role requires pursuing an Accounting degree, strong math skills, and the ability to work closely with clients and staff. Qualified candidates will demonstrate CPA‑track intent, solid GPA, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Above average knowledge in accounting; Preferred 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Working toward eligibility to sit for CPA exam after graduation.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
• Ability to think independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
• Gather information for required documents by working with clients.
• Use data analysis to discover patterns to support recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
