Job summary

Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. is seeking motivated individuals to join our tax internship program in Waco. As a Tax Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience across key areas of public accounting, including federal and state tax return preparation, client service, compliance, and more.

This internship offers mentorship, real-world client work, and potential full-time opportunities. Availability: 30+ hours per week for 4 to 12 weeks starting in February; compensation $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college-level Accounting program.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and ready to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns
• Support tax teams with compliance work and client communications
• Gain exposure to various aspects of tax accounting and industry best practices
• Work within tax software and professional workpapers
• Participate in training and development opportunities throughout the internship
