Job summary

Sorren is seeking a motivated accounting/finance student for a tax internship in Raleigh, NC. You will assist with individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns while supporting accounting tasks that feed into tax preparation. You’ll review prior returns, ensure data accuracy, and help with estimated tax calculations.

Training and mentorship are provided; flexible scheduling helps balance peak deadlines. We value collaboration, growth, and work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and tax principles, with interest in expanding knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in working with numbers and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn tax preparation software.
  • Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and seek feedback to improve work.
  • Availability to work part-time or full-time during the internship term, with flexibility during peak deadlines.

Position Summary: Your Impact (Essential Duties)
