Job summary

Eide Bailly is seeking a Tax Intern for the Spring 2027 season to work in our Sioux Fall, SD office. This is a full-time, in-person internship (40 hours/week) with a rolling application deadline and interviews scheduled for early to mid-October.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, on track for CPA licensure, and prepared to meet the standards and confidentiality required in a professional accounting environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and on track to sit for the CPA license.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Maintain strict client confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering relevant tax-related information from a client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Work with the tax team to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Assist in preparing a high-level return for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing company or high-net-worth individual.
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Network and build relationships across the Firm.
