Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Winters Intern, Tax, based in Columbus, OH. This role supports the tax team in preparing federal, state, and local tax extensions for corporate and partnership entities while collaborating with finance, accounting, and legal teams.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related fields with a 3.5 GPA, proficient in Excel, and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or a related business discipline.
• Must have completed at least two years of college with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Strong financial analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to become proficient with internal software programs necessary for the role.

Responsabilités

• Complete analysis and prepare various tax extensions including Federal, State & Local for corporate and partnership entities.
• Assist the tax manager with planning and forecasting throughout the year.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, legal, and business units, to gather and analyze relevant financial and operational data for tax compliance purposes.
• Assist the tax manager with the 1099 process.
• Ad hoc projects: Support other ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned.
