Job summary

Eide Bailly seeks a Spring 2027 Tax Intern in the United States. You will assist in gathering tax information, work with the tax team to prepare returns, and gain exposure to a multi-faceted client base across various industries.

As an accounting student, you will build your tax skills, stay current on regulations, and network across the Firm while earning pay and overtime eligibility.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and on track to CPA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering tax-related information to prepare accurate returns.
• Work with tax team to ensure timely and correct individual and business tax returns.
• Assist in preparing high-level returns for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing company or high-net-worth clients.
• Review tax positions from multiple angles to maximize tax benefits.
• Network and build relationships across the Firm.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day in the life of a Spring 2027 Tax Intern with Eide Bailly might include the following:

• Assist in gathering relevant tax-related information from a client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Work with the tax team to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Assist in preparing a high-level return for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing company or high-net-worth individual.
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Network and build relationships across the Firm.

• You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies.
• In addition to all of this, you are working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and are on track to sit for your CPA license.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

We are excited to share that intern positions across our firm are paid between $25.00-$32.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. If you are offered an intern position with Eide Bailly, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience.
