Job summary

Eide Bailly is seeking a Spring 2027 Tax Intern in Long Beach, CA. You will assist the tax team in gathering information, preparing returns, and ensuring deadlines are met while supporting high-net-worth clients and manufacturing companies.

Eligible interns are paid $25.00–$32.00 per hour, with overtime potential. Interns receive health insurance and a 401(k) Profit Sharing plan. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA track in progress.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate returns.
• Work with tax team to ensure returns are completed correctly and on time.
• Assist in preparing high-level returns for manufacturing companies or high-net-worth individuals.
• Review tax positions to maximize benefits.
• Network and build relationships across the Firm.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day in the life of a Spring 2027 Tax Intern with Eide Bailly might include the following:

• Assist in gathering relevant tax-related information from a client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Work with the tax team to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Assist in preparing a high-level return for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing company or high-net-worth individual.
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Network and build relationships across the Firm.

• In addition to all of this, you are working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and are on track to sit for your CPA license.

We are excited to share that intern positions across our firm are paid between $25.00-$32.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. If you are offered an intern position with Eide Bailly, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. Interns are eligible for health insurance and 401(k) Profit Sharing.
