Job summary

Eide Bailly is seeking part-time Tax Interns for our Irvine, CA office for Spring 2028. The role offers paid hourly compensation between $25.00-$32.00 per hour with overtime eligibility. You must be pursuing an Accounting degree and be on track to sit for the CPA license.

You will gather tax information, work with a supportive tax team, and assist in preparing returns for various clients while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering tax-related information from clients for accurate returns.
• Collaborate with the tax team to ensure timely completion of individual and business returns.
• Prepare high-level returns for multi-million-dollar manufacturing clients or high-net-worth individuals.
• Evaluate tax positions to maximize benefits.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day in the life of a Tax Intern with Eide Bailly might include the following:

• Assist in gathering relevant tax‑related information from a client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Work with the tax team to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Assist in preparing a high‑level return for a multi‑million‑dollar manufacturing company or high‑net‑worth individual.
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Network and build relationships across the Firm.

We are excited to share that intern positions across our firm are paid between $25.00-$32.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. If you are offered an intern position with Eide Bailly, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. Interns are eligible for health insurance and 401(k) Profit Sharing
