Job summary

Sensiba LLP in San Ramon, CA is seeking a Tax Intern for Summer 2027. The role involves assisting with federal, state, and local tax returns and gaining hands-on experience across individual and business tax practices.

This on-site position offers exposure to real client work and collaborative mentorship. The eight-week program includes an on-site week at Sensiba's San Jose headquarters, with training, networking, and development of tax software skills to build a strong professional foundation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting.
• Expected completion of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum accounting GPA of 3.0 preferred. CA CPA eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Support the organization and maintenance of tax documents and client information.
• Develop deep understanding of our tax software and other relevant tools.
• Support the tax team in compliance and planning projects.
• Conduct tax research and analysis under the guidance of our experienced staff.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and document preparation.
